Email Helps Tax Professionals Meet New IRS Requirements
N.C. (June 17, 2005) -
Research Triangle Software, a leading developer of secure and branded
electronic commerce solutions, announced today that LetterMark Email (www.lettermark.com)
is helping new and existing customers comply with the new IRS regulations.
This follows the Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department
issuing revisions to the new Treasury Department Circular 230 standards
for written tax advice. The regulations set forth best practices for tax
advisors providing advice for their clients on federal tax issues or submissions
to the IRS.
The requirements apply to written advice that is rendered after June 20, 2005.
"LetterMark Email was the quickest and most efficient tool for our attorneys to be able to comply with Circular 230 section 10.35," said Kathy Tarkington, Manager of User Services at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP.
"LetterMark Email ensures our customers meet the new federal regulations,” said Ken Arneson, president of the LetterMark Email division. “In addition, our customers receive a highly scalable solution that has been implemented by some of the leading national law and accounting firms."
