International Deploys LetterMark® Email
CARY, N.C. (June 21, 2005) - Research Triangle Software, a leading developer of secure and branded electronic commerce solutions, announced today that Marriott International (NYSE:MAR) is deploying LetterMark Email in offices and hotels throughout the United States. Marriott has made LetterMark Email available to its sales and event management associates with the Midwest and Southeast regions being the first to roll-out the product. Marriott is a worldwide hospitality leader with approximately 128,000 associates and more than 2,800 properties.
LetterMark Web-Enhanced Email converts traditional one-to-one plain text email into a powerful marketing, sales and business development tool. It drives Web traffic, strengthens brand awareness and increases the retention of customer contact information by leveraging emails employees send everyday. Marriott selected LetterMark Email because it offers significantly more capability than competing products, including dynamic republishing, downloadable contact information, deep linking into Marriott's corporate Website, tracking, reporting and an easy-to-use Web-based administration system.
LetterMark Web-Enhanced Email was introduced to Marriott International by the UPTONGROUP, a brand-strategy and communications management consulting firm headquartered in Richmond, VA.
